Massage Cures Infertility
Infertility for millions of American women it can be
a problem that dashes hopes and dreams, not to mention
how it empties wallets, bank accounts, and home equity
lines. There are approximately 5,000,000 women
currently diagnosed with infertility. For most, the
only remedy prescribed is direct medical intervention.
Hormone injections, in-vitro fertilization and so many
others are suggested. While these methods do work for
some, they are costly, time consuming, and invasive.
However, all these treatments can be used to treat the
symptoms without first discovering the root of the problem.
It has been discovered that in many cases infertility
problems can be attributed to scar tissue, adhesions,
and obstructions in the fallopian tubes.
Now there is a new alternative, a non-surgical soft
tissue therapy. This technique focuses on decreasing
adhesions and increasing the function of organs. In
many cases this treatment is a welcomed opportunity,
that is safer that surgery or pharmaceutical procedures.
Larry and Belinda Wurn, a husband and wife team in
Gainesville, Florida, have adapted a Myofascial
Release technique that has been effective in treating
women with infertility problems related to adhesions
and scarring.
According to their website, www.clearpassage.com,
40% of all female infertility is attributed to scarring,
pelvic adhesions, or tubal obstruction. A deep tissue
massage technique is used to slowly stretch and break
up scar tissue caused by inflammation, infection,
surgery, or trauma.
"Our work is a very 'site-specific,' slow and deep body
work to the soft tissues of your body. We use our hands
to locate abnormal tensions in and around the organs,
muscles, connective tissues and support structures of
the body. We then apply gentle, specific sustained
manual forces designed to reduce adhesions and encourage
normal mobility, tone and function," say the Wurns.
An article appearing in the Dec 1998 issue of Natural
Health Magazine boasts, "Massage Delivers Babies".
Conventional fertility treatments, like invitro-fertilization,
have a combined success rate of 19.6%. The WURN Technique
has seen an initial clinical success rate of 50% in those
women suitable for treatment, without surgery or drugs.
This technique has a very impressive track record.
Millions of women suffer from unexplained infertility in
the United States. A non-surgical, non-Pharmaceutical
treatment is now available for a large percentage of these
cases. It is less invasive, much less costly, and generally
more effective. A new hope for those with objections to being
poked and prodded, or 'medicated' into creating a new life.
Perhaps this new method allows procreation to take place
the way it is supposed to, between a husband, a wife, and
The Creator, not the medical community.

infertility, contact Larry and Belinda Wurn at

whether the WURN technique is right for you.
